The Ghost Bus on the App

The app says the bus is two minutes away. I look down the road. Nothing. The app updates: the bus is one minute away. Still nothing. Then, right before my eyes, the app says 'Due' and then simply vanishes from the screen.

Where did the bus go? Did it enter another dimension? Did it fall into a sinkhole? The app offers no explanation. It simply pretends the bus never existed in the first place.

Then a bus arrives that isn't on the app at all. It's a completely different number, heading somewhere I don't want to go. The technology is amazing, it's just completely detached from reality.
