Cable TV, But Make It 15 Different Apps

We cut the cord years ago because cable was a rip-off. 'Just get a streaming service,' they said. 'It's only ten bucks a month and it has everything.' And it did, for a while.

Now? The Office is on one app. The rugby is on another. The movies I actually want to watch are on a third. And to get all the content we used to get in one place, we now pay for five different subscriptions.

We haven't defeated the expensive bundle. We've just dismantled it, scattered it across a dozen different apps with different passwords, and made ourselves pay more for the privilege.
